I took the audio book for the library book club. I listened to it while I drive. During the 11th CD I pulled into a parking lot because the book was taking my attention away from my driving. It is 5 star in my opinion and I have the next on on hold for me.

This is the third book I've read by John Hart. They just keep getting better and better. Much easier to read than his first book, everything seemed to flow much better and the characters were believable. I am looking forward to reading his fourth book also (on hold).

I picked this book up because it sounded interesting and it was so much more than that. I was blown away by the quality of the writing and the way that Hart developed his characters. It is not often that I am moved to tears by a book, but Hart's writing conveys true emotion and connects with reader. I am going to be on the lookout for more of Hart's work.

I can't even remember how I found out about this book. Certainly not my usual fare and I opened it up with pretty low expectations. Wow, I will be reading more by John Hart. The reader runs the gamut of emotions and the plot is twisty, turny and keeps you turning the page. Doesn't happen often that I'm unable to guess the ending of a book, but certainly happened here.

Good mystery. Very different ending. My husband didn't like it but I loved the ending. It is gritty. There is violence which I am not a big fan of. I like the redemption element and spirituality of the ending. It is a quirky ending.

Stunning plot twists, feints, and a shocking conclusion. This one has it all. Talk about a page turner!

Wonderful story...kept me on edge right to the end with excellent writing and suspense

The first chapter of this book is riveting. The plot has twists and turns, revolving around 13 year old Johnny and Detective Hunt. Johnny''s twin sister disappeared about a year ago, and then his father left, deserting Johnny and his mother, who soon sunk into a drug and alcoholic despair. Now another young girl has vanished. Hunt is obsessed with the missing girls. Johnny is running his own very organized search for his sister. Couldn''t put it down.
