Add a Commentokay, so i wasn't planning on watching this movie, but i did. i wasn't going to watch this one because of the third pirates movie( it was terrible in my opinion). This movie was a lot better than I expected. I really like the plot a lot, and I thought this one was waaaaaay better than the third one. even though it was good, I still think the first one is the best. Great movie though!
Johnny Depp playing Captain Jack Sparrow is hilarious. Keep 'em coming!
I've loved this whole series - great costumes and characters. I did watch this segment over the course of two nights because I found my attention wandering half way through - and the break allowed me to enjoy it more...so perhaps it was a tad on the long side. The effects are really incredible and 'the other captain' trying to be a proper British mariner was pretty funny!
Really good. Jack Sparrow is really funny. Did you know Depp made up most of the funny parts.
this movie sucked. i paid for it on the plane and it felt like i had payed to much. the ending was horrible.
Disney gots it all. 3d effects very good. Pirates, Mermaids, Fountain of Youth, and Penelope Cruz.
Really redeemed this series with good writing, thoughtful acting and zany humor and wit throughout. Yes, this series CAN be fun!
Hard to imagine Depp playing anyone other than Jack Sparrow. Maybe not as funny as the original, but it still rocks.
Took a while to get going but it was worth it and made be crave more. Next movie starts shooting soon. I'll keep watching.
A relentlessly tedious movie, it is way too long, and does not have an iota of the magic of the first PotC, All the more the shame because the costumes, acting, set design, piratical atmosphere etc are all great, but what a waste. I could go on but why bother?
